job description2nd Shift Production SupervisorRandstad has partnered with a client in Woodruff, SC who is looking for a 2nd shift production supervisor. The individual chosen for this position will be required to work 2nd shift. The hours will be 3pm-11pm, Monday-Friday and occasionally Saturdays.This is a textile company that makes fire retardant fabric for things such as military uniforms, mattress covers, pillow cases etc.It is a privately owned company with an outstanding reputation! The employees they have working there feel loved, respected and have extreme job security.This is a DIRECT HIRE position paying $45,000-$55,000/year.Responsibilities:As a production supervisor, you will be required to supervise a team of off shift employees in a department within the facility.You will be responsible for training the new employees, coaching them on improving their quality of work, and making sure the shift is running properly.You will also be responsible for managing processes within the department, payroll, training, and that all things comply with OSHA standards.Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PMSkills:In this position, the skills required include:-Experience as a manufacturing/logistics supervisor is required.-4 year degree is preferred but is not required based upon the level of experience-Textile experience is preferred, not required.-Applicants that have weave experience is a PLUS.Education:BachelorsExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:To qualify, each applicant must have the following:-Experience as a production supervisor-4 year degree preferred-Must be able to pass a criminal history check and a drug screen-Must be able to pass a standard breathing test-Must be able to lift, bend, and squat repetitively.-Must be able to work a 2nd shift Monday-Friday and some SaturdaysIf you are interested, please reach out immediately.
