Primary Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking

SharePoint Developer client in

Spartanburg, South Carolina. This is a

contract position in

automotive industry.

Education and Experience
  • Project management experience would be a plus.
  • 5+ years experience with Windows Server 2012/2016, IIS and SQL Server 2012/2014/2016.
  • Previous experience as a SharePoint Developer.
  • Previous experience designing workflows using Nintex Workflow.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Extensive knowledge with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
  • Extensive knowledge with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery and Client Object Model.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript UI frameworks like Vue, React and/or Knockout.
  • Must be able to communicate with customers and hold conversations.
  • They must be able to translate their conversations into technical requirements.
  • Agile experience is nice to have.

WHAT YOU LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:
  • This position day to day would be a combination of working with the infrastructure team member and team lead and will get their workload based on the current SharePoint upgrade.
  • They have a catalog of applications to identify and get them in the pipeline and start the process of upgrading.
  • Once they have an application, they can start working with they will need to identify what customization have been implemented into this solution.
  • Then determine if it is appropriate to move it to 2019 as is or if redevelopment needs to take place.
  • On the other side, will work with key users and communicating to them the plan.
  • They will work with key users through deployment and stabilization processes.
  • Need someone who can operate autonomously and be self-directed.
  • Currently going from 2013 to 2019 SharePoint.
