Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT hardware
- Strong Windows OS knowledge
- Knowledge in MDT, WSUS, Active Directory, and other Microsoft management technologies
- Basic understanding of LAN and wireless network technologies
- Basic IT security knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize efforts based upon business impact
- Ability to run or participate in projects around IT hardware
- PowerShell and light HTML coding is a plus
- Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution, and recovery for hardware/software problems; when unable to resolve, escalate to second or third level in accordance with escalation processes
- Escalate hardware-related problems to the third-party warranty and non-warranty supplier
- Maintain overall ownership of user's issue and service ensuring that they receive resolution within a reasonable timeframe
- Record incident resolutions in ServiceNow
- Provide enhancement request feedback to IT regarding technology environment and customer needs through the defined processes
- Support Windows 10 desktops and laptops, printers, PDAs, basic LAN/WAN connectivity, and others as assigned
- Receive, escort, and guide third-party suppliers onsite
- Update asset inventory in asset management system, including the movements from purchaser's stock
- Identify to purchaser any requirement for additional stock of equipment for use as spares
- Support incident manager with incident resolution
- Prepare, implement, and verify software and hardware life cycle project through the change management process
- Maintain a secure factory IT environment by keeping devices up to date
