DescriptionDesktop Support Technician candidates will be interested in Robert Half Technology's new job opening, if they have a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with customers around the country. To thrive in this position, you will need to be a self-starter, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working in an innovative environment. This Desktop Support Analyst role is full-time in nature and is located in the Travelers Rest, South Carolina, area.Your responsibilities
Administer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions
Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Requirements
Desktop support or related experience
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
Network Printers experience
Strong familiarity with Break Fix
Experience with VoIP
Active Directory experience
Foundational knowledge in Password Reset
