Job Description
Summary and Primary Responsibilities:Working with direction from the Master Scheduler, compile and analyze data necessary to support the Sales, Operations, Inventory and Planning (SIOP) process. Interaction with multiple departments including product management, production, materials, finance and manufacturing engineering.
Key Elements of RoleExtract data from company ERP system (LN) to support planning and SIOP process.
- Conversion of data from multiple sources into the SIOP templates for review and approval.
- Ability to critically analyze the SIOP process and suggest and/or implement improvement.
- Manage the transfer of the unconstrained sales plans and information from the Demand Consensus Meeting, and then incorporate to the resource planning cycle.
- Manage the transfer of current inventory, production orders, backlog and available capacity into resource planning cycle.
- Audit data for consistency and accuracy.
- Maintain and communicate SIOP related metrics to the organization.
- Participation in the Demand Review, Supply Review and Partnership meetings in the SIOP process.
- Analyze inventory levels and product demands to determine reorder levels and safety stocks that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
- Drive, promote and develop positive communication with Marketing and Sales to improve
- forecast accuracy.
Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Business
- 5+ years of experience in production environment, preferably in a scheduling or engineering related function
- Experience managing manufacturing processes, productivity and efficiency measurements
- Experience using MRP / ERP system
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Business
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
- Experience using LN
- Previous experience in a SIOP or S&OP role
- Strong ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
- Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities.
- High level of proficiency with Excel and other MS Office application.
- Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes.
