Job Description

In this role, you are an embedded team member, working with a local group that develops solutions, tools, and reports to support global processes, specifically in the area of end devices (computers, printers, smartphones,…).

This role also has global parternship, supporting a world-wide process.This senior-level position will coordinate requirements, consult on solutions, and design the architecture for Bosch's end device services In this role, you will manage complex data models and coordinate requirements for back-end development teams, to establish an API-first approach for in-house tools.As Software Architect, you are responsible:

  • Design, document, and manage Bosch's data landscape for end device services
  • Define requirements and coordinate priorities for a back-end development team
  • Design API endpoint architecture to support complex processes
  • Translate operational processes into technical solutions
  • Ideally, you bring a development background, however with an interest on application design and architecture

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience of designing relational data structures
  • 5+ years experience of API design and development (REST/JSON, MQTT)
  • High-level of coordination, interpersonal skills and analytical thinking to solve problems; able to understand business requirements and translate in to technical requirements
  • Excellent visualization and organization skills to document and organize complex landscapes (Crow's Foot/ER Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and cross-functional flowcharts)
  • Strong ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervision
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant IT field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, etc.
  • Excellent English language communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to travel up to 15% (possibly international as needed)
