Job Description

As a store leaderyou will be responsible for managing all aspects of a retail store and leading a team with passion and care. Your contribution to the business will be to ensure that your store functions as a profit centre through effective team rostering and store discipline adherence. A key leadership and communication role is to ensure the efficient flow of information between support office and stores and to foster a culture of shared responsibility, collaboration and innovative problem-solving.

Store Profitability:
- Sales - meet or exceed targets
- GP - reduce wastage & improve stock accuracy within benchmarks
- NP - reduce controllable expenses in line with budgets
- Reporting on Income Statements
Store Disciplines and Productivity:
- Ensuring that monthly store audit benchmarks are achieved and improved upon
Risk Management:
- Risk Management: Effective stock control and stock management / Effective cash handling procedures and controls
Customer Experience:
- Professionalism and store look and feel
People Management:
- Performance development culture and team effectiveness, basic IR
Qualifications
We ASK- Grade 12
- Business/Admin qualification - a retail management diploma or degree would be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years retail experience - sales, merchandising and admin experience (including 2-3 years managerial experience)
- A genuine interest in health and wellness - brand ambassadors
- Fully computer literate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours
- Proficiency in stock management, cost control and cost management
- Own transport essential
- Competency Assessment Achieved
