Location/Travel Requirements: Rapid City, SD main officeTravel up to 25% of the time (one week per month, equivalent to 3 months in a year)Job Summary Reporting to the President of Brink, and supporting 400+ employees with the HR team, you will act as a credible business-oriented solution provider and trusted partner. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the HR operations and functions of the organization. This includes overseeing and developing collaborative plans with leadership on recruiting, hiring, training, development, performance management, benefit administration, employee relations and compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Leverage deep business understanding to identify issues, diagnose root causes, provide insights, offer recommendations and develop proactive solutions to solve pressing business objectives, such as productivity, engagement, skill development, attraction and retention & recognition.

Apply strong analytical skills and attention to detail to understand complex problems and root causes, leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to develop insights, guide decisions, and formulate solutions

Advise leaders on potential organization design and opportunities and impacts associated with organizational changes

Ensure compliance with internal human resource policies and practices, and with relevant labor and employment legislation

Collaborate with Recruitment, with a strong focus on acquiring and retaining top talent

Provide coaching and advice on career development, recruitment practices, succession planning, compensation and performance management, diversity & inclusion and other human resource practices.

As required in partnership with people practices, lead and conduct investigations regarding violations of our company’s standards of conduct etc.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

5+ years of experience in HR management or related field

Valid Driver's License - must have an acceptable MVR according to company policy to operate company vehicles or rent a car on company business.

Drug Free Workplace – must take and pass pre-employment drug test.

Preferred:

Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP are preferred, but not required.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Data analysis - can leverage quantitative and qualitative data to enable informed decision making

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Two-way advocacy - ability to stand in resistance when required
