Auto Body Technician Wanted (Tea)

In search of an experienced auto body repair tech or auto restorer. You could be working for the oldest vintage car restoration shop in the Sioux Empire, Cliff Avenue Upholstery & Restoration of Tea, SD. Your wages will be based on experience & raises provided based on the work you do. You would work with a team of experienced auto restorers. We are located in Tea, SD on the corner of Kerslake Place. Responsibilities:

Thoroughly examine the vehicle damages

 Return the vehicle back to specifications as directed

 Remove vehicle trim to gain access to the vehicle body

 Can properly fill depressions with body filler and ensure a quality repair

 Able to remove damaged parts using power tools and cutting torch

 Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment

 File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools

 Aim headlights

 Replace bolts on panels and align properly

 Make cosmetic repairs

 Perform other duties as assigned

 Use special equipment to restore vehicles as directed

 Able to develop appropriate and efficient methods for each job

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

 Ability to perform repetitive tasks; manual dexterity

 Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception
