What's the job?

Provide technical troubleshooting skills to maintenance and operations to restore product flow, as well as provide technical leadership and training to craft employees.

Provide technical solutions to recurring design, process and application problems, and analyze equipment and process data to identify opportunities and develop solutions and system improvements.

Assist the maintenance department in short and long-term outage planning.

Assist supervisors and crafts in following up on VPM issues and items from the daily management action register.

Develop, manage and implement small capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance projects and provide process engineering support.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Minimum 5 years of experience with electrical systems and controls utilized in industrial applications

Minimum 5 years of experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles

Minimum 5 years' experience in product and process failure analysis and an understanding of world class manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing, FMEA, RCM SPC, TQM, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Experience in installing, programming and troubleshooting AC drives, DC drives and AB Logix5000 series Programmable

Strong written and oral communications skills

Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Proficient problem solving and creative thinking skills

Familiarity with instrumentation including HART communications

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Strong maintenance background

Gas fired combustion systems experience preferred
