job description2nd Shift Forklift OperatorDo you have recent forklift experience and enjoy working on 2nd shift? Are you looking for a opportunity to grow with a company for a good long term fit? Randstad's top-tier staffing agency is now recruiting for a 2nd shift Forklift Operator for the Alcoa area that would be a temp to perm position and would start at $12.50 hr. In this position you would be working in a climate controlled environment and would also be required to mainly do work operating the forklift.Responsibilities:Operates Order/Cherry Picker, stand up lift truck/Pacer, and Reach truck for shipping, order selection, receiving, put away/replenish to and from storage racksHand stacks unpalliated goods for efficient use.Inspects condition of goods for quality, safety and stabilityInforms managers of any discrepancies or problemsMonitors power equipment and conducts daily inspections.Follows safety proceduresKeep operating areas clean and in orderly conditionWorking hours: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AMSkills:Able to sufficiently read and comprehend freight instructionsBasic mathematical skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAble to walk or stand for shifts four to eight hours, with appropriate breaksAble to safely operate pallet jack, reach truck, pacer, order/cherry pickerGreat communication skillsAble to work under little supervisionAbility to work in a fast paced environmentEducation:High SchoolExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:6 months or recent forklift experience required2 positive work referencesHigh School Diploma or GEDReliable transportationGreat attendance recordExcellent work ethicFor immediate consideration call Kevin at 865-671-6029 or email Kevin at kevin.wilson@randstadusa.comRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
