They lead the expansion of pharmacy, pharmacy clinical initiatives, and wellness services while collaborating with the other worksite sponsored offerings such as primary care, patient-centered medical homes, occupational health, physical therapy, and fitness. The Director of Pharmacy Services is responsible for the client’s value proposition while creating business synergies for Premise’s core enterprise.What You’ll Do for Us:

Leads implementation of all Premise worksite pharmacies in assigned region.

Oversees pharmacy benefit design requests, pharmacy health and wellness programs, and all other related worksite synergies.

Drives operational excellence by providing pharmacy managers with performance expectations, divisional goal metrics and communicates improvement opportunities.

Supports Directors of Client Operations on holding team members accountable to the employer solutions group’s long-range targets, initiatives, and strategies.

Responsible for creating a Pharmacy Benefit Administration relationship between Premise and the clients PBM.

Serves as a subject matter expert for the strategic account managers and the directors of client operations for client reporting, budget creation, operational revenue, and project management status.

Supports the RFP team for new business opportunities.

Supports sales and the pricing teams for new business and client retention.

Supports legal team for contract negotiations and client renewals.

Assists legal team for necessary contract changes as they pertain to the employer worksite industry.

Responsible for orientation and training of all new pharmacy managers.

Responsible for assisting local Walgreens District Manager and Director of Client Operations with interview and hiring process.

Directs business intelligence, client billing, and client reporting for new clients for revenue collection and metric reporting.

Reviews and audits finance and accounting shared services’ pharmacy reporting.

Serves as executive leadership in the pharmacy and therapeutics committee, clinical program and mentorship committee, and the pharmacy steering committees.

Directs client pharmacy audits for all sites in assigned region.

Leads communications associated with best practices across all worksite pharmacies.

Education:

Pharmacy Degree

Experience:

7 plus years’ experience in retail pharmacy with a focus/interest in the employer health segment.

At least 2 years of experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.

At least 5 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work

At least 5 years of experience in indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other team members.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex pharmacy benefit issues.

Experience with coordinating and presenting executive management meetings as related to Implementation, Quarterly Reports, Benefit Design, External Audit, and PBM implementation.

Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet both client and divisional goals within budget(s) and established timelines.

Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
