The Senior Business Analyst, Health Informatics provides project and business expertise for CoreCivic's core operational systems, and supports Health Services as it relates to the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Performs design, system configuration, testing, implementation, end user training, system enhancements, optimization and ongoing support of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) as related to facility customer community, business customer community, the technology support group, and the application vendors. Assists in the integration between various software systems, including Offender Management System, and Medical Scheduling with the Electronic Health Record (EHR).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Leads the successful design, planning, and implementation of large scale/complex Technology/Operational Projects for CoreCivic ensuring compliance with CoreCivic's Program Management Methodology.

Assists the site assessment team with the deployment of computers and devices designed for the training classrooms, facility infrastructure, and equipment setup.

Leads sessions to gather key requirements, perform testing, and analyze gaps between requirements and current software capabilities.

Manages and coordinates face to face or virtual training with Health Services staff, either in a group setting or individually.

Maintains relationships with customer departments and ensures support is provided in the context of assisting application users succeed in their business goals.

Provides subject matter expertise and translates solutions back to customers.Identifies impediments to implementation and translates users' needs to technical requirements.

Evaluates and recommends process improvements to impact operational efficiency and cost effectiveness of health-related services.

Provides guidance and assistance in the development of EHR policies and procedures.Reviews system data and audits facilities on the quality of their use of the EHR.

Provides guidance and assistance to resolve issues, identify functionality, data and credibility needs and deficiencies, and the quality assurance of projects relative to the application suite.

Provides daily support and serves as a resource to System Administrators in resolving issues related to system use and/or functionality. Communicates issues to the vendor, management, internal development, engineering, and program management teams.

Domestic U.S. travel will be required.

Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Operations Management, or other related field is required.

Five years of experience in Healthcare technology or correctional healthcare operations.Knowledge of correctional health care practices, standards, continuous quality improvement, patient care protocols and practices.

Additional experience in a corrections or healthcare environment may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Extensive experience in implementing, managing, supporting, and maintaining EHR software platforms.

Experience working with Touchworks EHR and Offender Management System.

Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Windows Server 2008 – 2016, MS SQL 2008 – 2016, Crystal Reports 2008 or higher, SQL Server 2008 – 2014.

A federal background check is required.Extensive travel.

A valid driver's license is required.
