Job SummaryThe Sr. Data Exchange Software Engineer works with a team to develop mission-critical, service-oriented applications. This role is a key contributor to the organization and future technologies.Responsibilities
Participate in Full-Stack agile development in a collaborative environment.
Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software products (cloud and/or in-house).
Work to achieve operational targets, with some impact on the overall achievement of results for the department.
Participate in the full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
Consult with end-user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
Serve as a technical expert on development projects.
Work independently and regularly review others work.
Coach and mentor junior developers on a regular basis.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field required
At least 5 years of relevant work experience
Strong programming Experience with C#, .NET Technologies
Agile processes, ceremonies, and tools experience required
Master Data Management experience preferred
Kafka (service bus), and ETL tool (SSIS, Corepoint, Talend, Informatica) experience preferred
Ability to face very difficult problems/issues that require very complex analysis
Experience delivering software products at an enterprise scale
