NTT DATA, Inc., a top 10 global IT services company, has an immediate need for a USER EXPERIENCE (UX) DESIGNER to support our healthcare client in REMOTE and can report to Brentwood, TN 37027 or Conshohocken, PA 19428.ROLE USER EXPERIENCE (UX) DESIGNERINDUSTRY Healthcare DURATION 6+ month W2 Contract, probable extension, strong chance to covert LOCATION 100% REMOTE reporting to Brentwood, TN 37027 or Conshohocken, PA 19428 SUMMARYThe User Experience (UX) Designer is a hands-on role, where you will actively participate in building prototypes, drawing user interfaces, and design software experiences for hospitals, Post-Acute Care facilities, and other audiences in the healthcare space. It s the real deal, where from day one onward, you will design complex software with a deep purpose.Designers are the chief evangelists for our users. Making tools that perfectly match the workflow of an acute care coordinator or optimizing the experience for a liaison at a skilled nursing facility is critically important. Making these user experiences effortless and efficient gives us purpose and brings great value.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, prototype, and usability test software products, including mobile and desktop devices.
- Create intuitive, user experiences with strong, conceptual design thinking.
- Collaborate with front-end UI and back-end developers, product management, support and other teams internally to meet highly technical business objectives for CLIENT s products.
- Translate ideas and concepts into workable wireframes, user task flow diagrams or journey maps, fully interactive prototypes, and functional design specifications.
- Works to achieve operational targets and has an impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.
- Communicate and present to key stakeholders, user needs and optimal design solutions
- Follow the Enterprise Style Guide (design patterns) to work systematically within a suite of products. Sometimes creating unique elements that relate to the patterns of an established design system.
- Participate in many forms of user testing and validation. From simple sneaker-net tests (internal, quick checks) to formal, moderated user tests that validate the product's direction and usability.
- Bachelor s degree in user experience, interaction design, graphic design or related field. In lieu of degree, 7+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in graphic design, interaction design, information architecture, front-end development, or User Experience design.
- Demonstrated experience with all the tools and disciplines of UX Design: interactive prototypes, visual design mockups, journey maps and work-flows, user-testing methods, persona development (using such products as Sketch/Invision or Axure).
- Experience with, or ability to learn, Product Metrics tools e.g., Pendo, Google Analytics.
- Without writing code, understands the technical possibilities and limitations. Is able to think in terms of what the technology can do without limiting the options or prematurely optimizing the design.
- Work is closely supervised by mentoring designers and shared freely with peers.
- Ability to face problems/issues that require a basic understanding of the products with a strong analytical ability.
- Clearly communicates detailed information that requires some explanation or interpretation (both spoken and written).
