- Working closely with the Director of Development, the Scrum Master and the Tech Lead for this project.
- Working with a team which uses a heavy Scrum Master model.
- Working with the protocols area (clinical standards that must be followed by the clinical staff members). The software has to follow the protocols. Protocols run through the entire organization and they do have a Program Manager for the project protocol side. This project is a very large effort with a lot of regulatory issues. This PM will interface with the technical architects, development, QA and release team members so they need to have a vast knowledge across all these areas.
- Working with both clinical and development leadership team members so this PM needs to have a fair amount of Executive presence and know how to articulate their needs and needs to know when and why to escalate issues as well as ID risks.
- Will be working with matrix teams so needs to be able to identify cross functional pieces to orchestrate work with several teams simultaneously.
- This is a long and arduous project and this Project Manager needs to be able to keep their chin up when things get rough or go sideways. There are project stakeholders all over the United States and this PM would need to be available during regular U.S. business hours. This PM will not be managing a budget or running the release planning or eliciting requirements but would interface with the BA team. The PM will be handed requirements and work with the development and feature teams, with PI planning. The PM won't be doing the daily stand ups (as the Scrum Master would be doing the stand ups). This PM needs to be able to organize cross functional communication and work with multiple teams. Some negotiations may be involved. Will not be updating Sr. Management as this is the role of the Program Managers for Development and Protocols.
