Process Engineer - Plastic Injection Molding

International company, a leader in manufacturing injection molded or extruded plastic parts, needs a technician to keep the machines running, and to ensure high quality production and employee safety. The company provides a competitive hourly wage, and great benefits, including 401K Relocation assistance may be available for people with the right set of skills. The positions to be filled are from 3 pm to 11 pm, or from 11 pm to 7 am. You are expected to have worked in injection molding and/or extruded plastics before, and be familiar with typical machines, molds, and material problems, especially as they apply to making parts used in automotive applications. You will be responsible for: Managing response to all machine, thermolater, robot, and other problemsReporting to Production Supervisor about problems on the production floorOverseeing Die changesEnsuring machines are running smoothlyFollowing all safety regulations and company policiesParticipating in continuous improvement activities to save money, improve quality.
