DescriptionIf you're a master of social situations and collaborative work, Accountemps has an opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the Construction/Contractor industry. Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Look after archived records by categorizing documents
Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Appease accounts by balancing entries
Conduct and manage the general ledger

3+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
Previous experience using accounting software
Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
Credit Card Receipts experience desired
Proficiency in Quickbooks Enterprise or Premier
Prepare Invoices experience
Deposits experience
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Candidates are required to undergo a background check and drug screen prior to placement
