United States of America - Tennessee, ChattanoogaJob SummaryAECOM is looking for a Project Controls Technician I for our Chickamauga Lock Replacement Project in Chattanooga, Tennessee.Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, follows written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned and standardized tasks.

Applies basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to area of specialization.

Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.

Introduced to commitment process and begins updates to commitment log for purchase orders and subcontracts.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

Some experience in heavy civil, process or industrial EPC/maintenance projects in planning and scheduling positions, similar to that obtained through an internship is desirable.

Software experience including PRISM, Oracle Financials, Primavera, MS Office Excel, Word, Access or PowerPoint.

College coursework in construction management and/or construction planning and scheduling and/or accounting.

Leadership Role in an Extracurricular or related Activity and the ability to work effectively in a project team environment.

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

Relocation is not available for this position.
