- MS Server 2008/2012/2016/2019, Microsoft Technologies (Active Directory, print services, clustering, DFS) Databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, DB2) Backup/Restore applications (Avamar, Tivoli) Network Services (DHCP, DNS) L2/L3 Switches Middleware (Apache Webserver, IIS, Websphere) Server hardware (Dell, HP, IBM Power Systems) VMware/Hyper-v virtualization Server and Application Monitoring (Solarwinds) ITIL Process (Change/Problem Mgmt)
- Work flexibility (travel requirements, work schedule, etc.) Nights and Weekends Required Work Hour flexibility required based on Production Schedule Day to Day working relationship with the IT and Production community. Day to Day working relationship with client and technology users. Additional Job Duty Overtime will be required to support with system updates and additional requirement
- Operative responsibility in incident and problem management for all items impacting plant operations.
- Create and maintain Server Architecture documentation for transparency
- Create Application and Hardware (System) Lifecycle Plans
- Work with the ITP management to ensure that a multiyear lifecycle plan is created to support from 1st to 3rd level support including milestones for all known software/OS versions or functional upgrades and sunset and successor systems.
- Assess and Manage System Requirements and Production program fulfillment
- Work with the ITP department to determine the current level of performance expected and risk with current process and systems. Create with the business area requirements plans for continuous improvement of the processes and systems.
- Identify Automated Solutions which support business process maturity or improvement
- Define and execute maintenance plans for firmware/software upgrades.
