Caregiver

I have Basic Life Support certification and proof of recent background check ("Checkr" - professional background checking agency), and current RN license in good standing. I'm a registered nurse starting a job first of July, but the hiring process takes a little time, and I need to find work until I start the job. I'm still fresh and marketable with my nursing skills. I will help for $20.00 - $25.00; negotiable, unless more specialized care is needed, such as wound care, ostomy care, blood sugar monitoring, medication administration and monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, medication injections such as insulin or Intramuscular injections (IM), etc. I wouldn't go for much higher pay than that. My first 10 years of nursing was on medical floors, and last 18 in the behavioral health setting. I've worked some Home Health, and Long term care during that time. I've been an RN in the hospital setting, and some Home Health for a total of 28 years in August. I've worked extensively with the older adult population with my medical and psychiatric experience as a nurse. I'm very attentive to the quality of care I provide. This could be something I could help you with until you find a permanent care giver, and it is also something I would be willing to continue on the side in addition to my upcoming full time work.
