Overview
Our direct client of more than 20 years is a prestigious Federal Integrator who provides a pioneering vision to the Federal Government through bold ideas and outcomes by accelerating digital process automation. They have a contract opportunity for a .NET Programmer to work REMOTE supporting a Federal Agency based in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders with 5 years consecutive U.S. residency and be able to pass the client's background requirements Responsibilities- Participate in requirements analysis
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming language
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code and improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide tech support
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of experience with .NET Programming Language
- 3 years of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
- Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
- Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
