The purpose of this role is to ensure the factory is engaged and aligned throughout the development process. This role will coordinate and lead build events with the Engineering team as well as other groups in the organization. Actively participate on new product development project teams

Identify potential quality improvements for new product teams based on warranty data

Lead root cause analysis teams

Lead new product build (QOPS) events

Drive process improvements based on findings from QOPS events

Track project teams to ensure they are meeting key metrics

Report out of project status and trends

Lead Safe Launch process development and implementation at the factory

Ensure the right support is provided to projects based on risk to the business and factory

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:Responsible for driving QOPS activities in the factoryTYPICAL EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:A business or technical degree

Bachelor Degree with 2 - 5 years of experience

Masters Degree with 0 - 2 years of experience

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of quality and lean manufacturing practices

Ability to identify process improvement opportunities

Strong data analysis and root cause analysis skills

Detailed oriented with the ability to drive projects to completion on schedule

Problem solving / 6 sigma skills

Ability to interface with cross functional teams to drive Manufacturing, Quality & Serviceability improvements.
