Established carbide tool manufacturer in Cookeville, TN looking for a full time entry level person to help with custodial, shop, and basic clerical tasks. This is an opportunity to begin a career in the manufacturing of precision parts in a clean drug free workplace. Monday through Friday, day shift (some overtime during week, occasional weekend).
Candidate requirements:
High School degree or equivalent
Strong computer skills
Mechanical skills
Problem solving skills
Strong math background helpful
Dependability
Works well in a fast paced production environment
Enthusiasm to complete the tasks and learn
Daily activities will include, but not limited to:
Using hand tools
Basic custodial duties
Maintaining a clean and organized work space
Assisting with operating machines
Assisting with maintenance of machines and other equipment
Communicating with superiors
Documenting processes
Willingness to learn specialized skills furthering your career
Salary will be based on skills and any experience you may have.
