Plans for the day-to-day operational needs of the department and for the growth of the uncashed checks function Resolves problems as they arise, to include resolving issues escalated by front line team members Implements and contributes to the development of operational improvements, to include reporting, invoicing system enhancements, and root cause problem solving of inappropriately paid claims Creates and develops partnerships with other departments including Collections, Disputes and Inquiries, Claim Payment Integrity, Finance, and Claims. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.Qualifications: Requires 3-4 years’ experience with claim payment integrity, financial operations, financial reporting and analysis, claims processing, customer or provider service, or other relevant experience Effective communication, problem solving, and people leadership skills Leadership experience preferredAnthem, Inc. is ranked as one of America’s Most Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2018 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company for Diversity.
