The Polysomnographic Technologist gathers data through PSG studies. These Sleep Study procedures require rational judgment and clinical thinking skills, oxygen therapy may be required, CPAP/BiPAP monitoring is required, oximetry monitoring, EKG/arrhythmia recognition, as well as associated clerical duties. He/she works to fulfill the hospital mission, vision, and values.Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Certification
Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider) Certification is required within 90 days of hire date.
ACLS must be obtained within 18 months of hire date.
Experience
