- Previous work experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- 2+ years experience in data analysis using SQL
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries , stored procedures and functions
- Good understanding of Database Concepts and Technologies including MS SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, Cosmos DB, and No-SQL Databases
- Experience with Data Modeling, Data Architecture & Data Governance concepts
- Proven experience in using Azure cloud services and its various components
- Experience in using different data services on Azure like Azure data factory, azure databricks, etc.
- Strong understanding of big data technologies like Apache Spark , Kafka , etc.
- Proficiency in file formats such as (but not limited to) Avro, Parquet, and JSON
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders or team member to resolve issues
- Candidate should be able to lead cross functional Solutions
- Excellent Communications skills and should be able to effectively collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), business analysts and Product Owner
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Experience with Azure Devops is a plus
- Healthcare or Financial background is a plus
- Help business analysts in the team with data mapping by doing required data validations
- Perform in-depth data analysis and data quality checks to help the team in defining business rules to meet functional requirements
- Create SQL queries based on the mappings provided by business analysts and cross functional teams
- Work closely with data engineering team to make sure all the business rules are met while designing data pipelines
- Work on ad-hoc development tasks in azure on need basis
