Available Openings 1PURPOSE AND SCOPE:The Business Development Representative will be responsible for growing the number of customers through focus and engagement in direct sales, trade shows, sales support and marketing. Familiarity with a wide range of healthcare specific practices, concepts and procedures.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for engaging in complex, consultative sales process to evaluate the readiness to adopt and utilize technology.

Prospecting for net new business outside of FMCNA.

Coordinates with internal FMCNA representatives regarding prospects and existing customers.

Participates with on site presentations, sales meetings and trade shows.

Meets assigned goals for Business Development in areas pertaining to: New Business, Known Targets and Software Service.

Coordinates sales strategy with senior management for effectiveness.

Develops relationships with various clinical companies and vendors through phone conversations, site visits and Trade shows.

Develops relationships with allied FMCNA professionals.

Participates in on site sales presentations, trade shows and business development/marketing meetings.

Assists in the development of reference sites.

Builds productive working relationships.

May provide assistance to junior level staff with general tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor.

May refer to senior level staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.

Escalates issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.

Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.

Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION :

Bachelor’s Degree required

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

2 – 5 years’ related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent directly related work experience.

Communication of complex concepts in a conversational manner.

Successful direct sales experience in a related industry.

Experience in healthcare IT is preferred.

Knowledgeable of Healthcare workflows and processes.

Collaborative, customer-focused, and able to create tangible value.

Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Team approach to working with others; ability to perform a variety of duties within any work day.

Ability to work with different levels of Executive and clinical personnel.

Organizational skills to include planning and execution of tasks and projects.

Comfortable presenting to both small and large audiences on medical technology issues.
