Contract Instructional Designers needed in Franklin, TNSamples Required that show experience with Adobe Captivate or other eLearning platforms Length of Contract: 4 monthsPay: $32/hrCollaborates with Pharmacy project teams, subject matter experts, management, and senior management to design and develop eLearning courses and instructor led courses that support both new hire education and current staff education. Determines the appropriate training delivery technology and develops programs using eLearning courseware, instructional technologies, instructional design methodologies, and graphic design tools needed to create instructionally sound learning engagements.Additional responsibilities include:

Analyzes, designs, develops, and implements instructional design projects including curriculum, learning tools, and program materials.

Partners with leaders, content experts, and project stakeholders to design and recommend project specific instructional and performance improvement strategies, training modalities, implementation strategies, and evaluation methods that engage employees within the Pharmacy and promote meaningful, just-in-time learning

Utilizes strong analysis skills to consult and collaborate and assess complex needs and define goals and operational requirements.

Analyzes requests and defines the objectives, learning goals, and scope of training projects to meet the desired goals of each request.

Develops and creates the delivery format of curriculum; instructor-led courses and eLearning modalities.

Designs programs for online delivery (eLearning) to address identified training needs for multiple audiences.

Performs quality assurance checks by testing and revising programs prior to implementation using focus groups, subject matter expert review, alpha, beta tests.

Reviews and edits existing lesson materials when needed.

Utilizes various tools and measurements such as assessment, skill check-offs, level 1 evaluations and reports to improve current program effectiveness.

May escalate issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.

Mentor other staff as applicable.

Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.

Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

2 – 5 years’ related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent directly related work experience.

Demonstrated ability to design educational materials as shown through work samples.

Strong understanding of adult learning principles.

Strong understanding of Adobe Captivate 9, or eLearning courseware equivalent.

Experience in a role consulting, relationship building, consensus building, creative problem solving, organization, and team collaboration skills to facilitate the instructional design process.

Experience facilitating and recommending learning and performance improvement strategies to achieve business outcomes.

Strong oral and written skills.

Ability to understand technical information and work with enterprise IS systems including learning management systems.

Expert level capabilities in the use of word processing and presentation tools.

Experience with Adobe Master Suite applications.

Strong understanding of Adult Learning Principles

Experience creating programs for technical training such as system walkthroughs, etc.
