job descriptionEmbedded Software Engineerjob summary:Randstad Technologies is looking for an Embedded Software EngineerRandstad Technologies is currently searching for an Embedded Software Engineer to fill a long term contract in Franklin, TN. Qualified candidates should have 5+ years of experience in embedded software development for customer facing products. We are looking for a developer with strong knowledge of Java and C as well as Object Oriented Design. You will be part of a global team that develops solutions from the ground up for new clients as well as troubleshoot and customize solutions for existing customers. To ensure excellent function and service you will also work closely with the QA team to support test plan development. Additional skills required for successful contract include experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, experience using code repositories such as GIT, CI tools(Jenkins), familiarity with scripting languages like Python and experience in a Linux environment. A background in electrical engineering or experience developing cloud connected industrial products that increase energy efficiency is a plus.Required Skills:
