Job Title: Web Developer

Location: Onsite in Franklin, TN

Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire

Compensation: Highly competitive and negotiable

Responsibilities:
  • Work both independently and with team members to deliver high quality web based solutions to business challenges that delight our customers.
  • Work must be accomplished efficiently while adhering to internal processes and meeting the requirements agreed upon with our business stakeholders.
  • Work ranges from application support to fix or enhance current systems to larger project development that greatly improves our ability to price, sell, and support our products.
Must haves:
  • Min 5 years relevant experience with increasing depth and breadth of responsibilities/assignments
  • Associates degree, bachelor's preferred
  • "full stack" - Angular (version 1.x) and/or Backbone, CSS, .net, c#
  • Visual Studio application development environment, web-api basis
  • Fast learner who can hit the ground running
  • Can handle ambiguity and knows how to solidify the ambiguous
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Process orientation with experience with full SDLC methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Positive, can-do attitude with focus on both quality and efficient delivery
Pluses:
  • Experience with Jira and agile development methodologies
  • Java
  • Experience with BitBucket
  • Experience with Insurance Industry
  • SQL Server experience in terms of data design and stored procedures
  • Experience in developing java micro-services and APIs for integration with AS400 procedures and/or 3rd party REST or SOAP services
