Description
This position reports to Director of Web Development and is responsible for coding requested features, enhancements, and bug fixes into our existing ASP.Net web applications. Web Developer II must have in-depth understanding of the current trends in technology and processes. Ability to learn fast, be a strong team player, be proactive and be a self starter is a must. Requirements Web Developer II role requires knowledge and experience in a variety of web technologies, including: •ASP.NET MVC framework, Microsoft Visual Studio•C#•HTML 5, CSS 3, Bootstrap 4.0 •JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular, Vue, Knockout, etc•RESTful Web Services •Git, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft IIS•College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering, and/or 5+ years equivalent work experience. •Strong understanding of coding methods and best practices including agile methodologies. •Must demonstrate an ability to mentor and guide junior developers. •Must demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization including with non-technical staff. •Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies. •Must demonstrate an ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and conduct research into software-related issues and products.•Must demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines, articulate complex requirements and prioritize simultaneous requests. •Must posses strong written and verbal communication. •Must demonstrate a sense of ownership, passion, and execution. Must be a strong team player.
