The basic function is to receive incoming materials, perform the necessary computer transactions, and ensure the orderly and timely movement of parts from receipt to shipment to customer.Job Duties:Responsible for receiving and entering incoming materials into the SAP system. Generates bills of lading (BOLs) and packing slips.Prepare purchase orders and shipping labels.Verifies received goods to purchase orders as to identification, type, quantities, and part numbers.Monitor incoming containers arriving from overseas.Works with accounting to reconcile inventory receipts.Run computer reports as directed by the Manager.Maintain record keeping, filing systems, and reference manuals.Assists in answering incoming phone calls and data entry.
