This person will provide world-class sales experience, marketplace insights, merchandising assistance, and new business opportunities within the assigned market.Contract: Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for the contract sales and development of large, high potential Trade Customers with a territory of 50-100 accounts and a quota of $10-$15 million. This person will prospect for new business in the property management & apartment distribution segments. Other duties include maintaining a current customer base, tracking leads, and proactively selling to ensure high-quality sales experiences for our Whirlpool Trade Customers.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Independent Retail Sales

Develop and drive a 'plan to sell' to grow margin, revenue, and share with assigned trade partners

Create strategic opportunities for buy-in and sell through activities

Ensure only the highest quality sales experience for our Whirlpool Trade Customers.

Maintain current customer base, tracking leads, and proactively selling to ensure high-quality sales experiences for our Whirlpool Trade Customers.

Provide insight driven selling techniques

Contribute to sales team success by gathering and sharing market and competitive information

Work independently and in a team environment

Minimal travel will work in office environment in Knoxville, TN

Earn an incentive bonus based on performance

Ability and willingness to relocate within 18 to 24 months of employment

Contract Sales

Prospect for new business in the property management & apartment distribution segments.

Develop a direct to indirect sales strategy to maintain cost to serve

Utilize all lead resources to build your customer pipeline

Negotiate pricing and freight terms

Maintain current customer base, tracking leads, and proactively selling to ensure high-quality sales experiences for our Whirlpool Trade Customers.

Provide insight driven selling techniques

Contribute to sales team success by gathering and sharing market and competitive information

Work independently and in a team environment

Earn an incentive bonus based on performance to quota

Ability and willingness to relocate within 18 to 24 months of employment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Sales experience

Strong business acumen and analytical skills

Excellent negotiation, persuasion and relationship building skills via phone

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google)
