Job Description
Media Preparation and Project set-up- Begins media tracking process once Media Orders are received from Project Managers
- Begins media preparation process, where applicable
- Rinse Petri dishes
- Bake VOST Tubes
- Tare filters
- Stage bottles and coolers
- Coordinate with WetChem and Organic prep to ensure order completeness
- Follow-up with Reagent requests
- Communicate special instructions received from the Project Manager
- Ship media orders to meet or in advance of client due dates
- Maintain a file of special instructions
- Assist with Method 18 media requests
- Serve as a back-up for reagent requests
- Serve as a back-up for packing source and ambient air media
- Maintain a supply of commonly used media
- VOST Tubes
- Various Filters
- Maintain inventory of “ready” tared filters of common sizes and types
- Bottles
- Shipping Supplies
- Order supplies as needed
- Generate Media Orders
- Media Order program
- Can/Bottle Order Module in TALS
- Review login container labels
- Perform login review
- Support shipping and receiving
- Serve as a back-up for particulate methods
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
