Job Description
On behalf of our client you will work within a close-knit crew of landscape technicians to transform commercial landscapes. This job is for you if you LOVE the outdoors, are hard working, want to be valued for your individual contributions and want an opportunity to learn & grow with a company.
Responsibilities
Installation of landscape features; to include grass, bushes, trees and shrubs.
Occasional installation of walkways, sprinklers and lighting.
Operation of onsite motorized equipment in a safe and courteous manor.
Tend to the care of existing landscapes through pruning, trimming, mowing and edging.
Protect landscape features with the application of pesticides.
Clear away debris and trash created on site.
Qualifications
Previous experience strongly desired; not required.
Must have a clean driving record (can apply without license).
CDL a plus; NOT required.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. individually.
Able to be bending and squatting often each day.
Work Environment
Requires periods of extended physical exertion, such as walking, standing, bending, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward in shape.
Regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes (cold winter or hot summer), moving machinery hazards and loud noises; which may cause discomfort. Company enacts safety measures and takes steps to make employees comfortable within reasonable means.
