This job is a a semi full time job which involves inspecting/surveying residential homes for multiple insurance companies. The majority are photos only which involves notating hazards, building materials, roof structure, occupancy issues, etc. The current volume is between 100- 150 a month but fluctuate depending on the time of the year. These are all new business & renewal inspections so the insured is usually aware that you will be onsite.
The jobs requires prior experience in real estate, inspections, construction, etc. You will be able to decide siding, foundation & roof types and aware of all the features of a home. A cell phone, reliable car, GPS camera & a camera pole are required. These can be completed on a mobile device (Tablet or cell phone) in the field which will save ALOT of time if you choose.
Most inspections take less than 5 minutes. I would say the average is between 3-6 an hour and the payouts will average $8 to $11 depending on the type and location. The typical turn time is 20 days so you do not need to visit the areas on a weekly basis. The pay will be monthly near the first week of the month. I will email a detailed excel sheet with all completed inspection with the payouts.
Part of the area is in Sevier county which includes some mountain areas in the resort areas. The work is easy as most are rental cabins but the terrain can be tricky. I have been completing the area for the last 6 months in a Mazda 6 so its not too bad.
This is a sub contractor position so I will be your direct contact. The company I work for is CIS Group @ https://www.cisgroup.net/. I will be able to train in person or via zoom as I am based in Atlanta. Overall its fairly easy and stress free. Driving around taking photos of homes in the gorgeous areas of East Tennessee! There will be challenges but overall its a great gig.

No insurance is required to start working however all liability in on you if something does happen while on site. In 10 years I have never had an issue.
