Construction Skilled Tradesmen WANTED (East Tennessee)

Tennessee, Knoxville 00000 Knoxville USA

Vacancy expired!

I am a project manager with a large reputable restoration company here in Knoxville. Our company is always seeking skilled tradesmen in all lines of construction. Painting, drywall, flooring, plumbing, roofing, masonry and all other areas of construction. I need you guys on my side to get projects finished and homeowners happy.

We work directly with insurance companies fulfilling homeowner's insurance claims, bringing their homes back to pre loss condition. This company has been in business for over eight years with a total of nine locations throughout East Tennessee and Alabama. My branch is located in Knoxville and covers the surrounding areas of Knoxville within an hour proximity.

We need hard working individuals that value their work ethic on our side here in Knoxville. You would be dealing directly with homeowners and myself, or the other project managers in the office. We do not tolerate no shows, or being late to a committed time with the homeowner. We realize things happen and in the construction field things are always changing, but communication is key and you have to be open to communicating clearly at all times in order to make these projects successful.

If you are a skilled tradesman as an individual or if you run an entire crew, we have projects of all sizes we can offer to you. We have projects at this moment we need to conquer and get off the books, waiting for completion; and continue to get more projects daily. There is no requirement in how many projects you take or a required work load. We simply want you in our contractor data base so we can call you and offer you projects as they come to us; or you call us asking us for MORE projects. If you show me your work is up to par, our office has jobs to keep most every trade busy.

You must have General Liability and either Workers Compensation Exemption, or coverage. (If you are an individual with a skill set and need help in acquiring either of these, I am more then happy to guide you in the process.) You don't need a business license and can be an individual, if you have a skill set, we want you. We do have a contractor packet to be filled out, which we will ask for some references. No drug test or background check required. We are interested in your skills and want to utilize you in order to make us all more successful financially and to make the homeowners happy. I can recommend you to my insurance agent, walk you through getting a free instant FEIN number and getting your instant exemption that lasts three years all online; again you don't need to be a business or have any licenses.

OUR PAY SCHEDULE - We do not wait until insurance companies pay us, to pay you. We offer three options, standard pay, rapid pay and next day pay. Standard pay is once you complete your work order, you provide me or whichever project manager you're working for with your invoice. As long as an invoice is gotten to us before any Tuesday morning, and the homeowner signs off in agreement with your work completed, you will be paid the following Friday. We also offer "rapid pay", if you get your invoice in by any Tuesday morning, we can have you paid that Friday with a 5% hold for that process. The third option is "next day pay"; if your work is complete and you get me an invoice by 1:00pm any weekday, you are paid the following weekday day by 1:00pm on a loaded debit card. There is a 10% holding on "next day pay", this option also requires the homeowner to sign off on your work. All of these option require your invoice turned in and the home owner signing off that the work you performed is up to par. If it isn't, you have to fix it! If the job or work order is large, or in stages, we do "draws". So, if you are working on one home owner's cliam but your trade requires you to work in the beginning of the restoration, and then again near the end of a large project, we can "draw" and pay you in stages per the work you have completed.

We do not have set prices on work orders, but we can negotiate to some extent and you always have the option simply not to take a work order. There are no demands on your part; but I personally want crews on my team that I can take of while they take care of me and the homeowner. There is no negative or backlash for only being skilled in one trade either, we have jobs in all lines of work. Please reach out to me.

We handle and our budget coordinators handle all material orders, usually with contractor pick up. Outside of the tools needed for your trade and basic material, we provide everything else per the restoration and work order.

Please feel free to call, text or email me. Our office is off of Dutch Valley and I am willing to meet with you, talk with you, or have you stop by to answer all your questions. Please contact me with your name, skill set or sets, whether you have insurance and preferably some photos of your work.
