Financial Analyst to contribute to our team in

LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. In this role, you will provide financial and operational analysis, forecasting, budgeting, decision support and reporting to leadership. Participates in the planning and execution of special projects. You’ll provide a basic level of support for optimal decision making. You will also

analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data and trends to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decision making.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3 years’ overall experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting or financial analysis or relevant field
  • 3 years’ experience utilizing advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel to include formulas, data manipulation, pivot tables and V-look up functions

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of financial analysis software
  • Knowledge of the analysis and reporting of financial data

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists Manager, FP&A in gathering, analyzing and presenting data to management to assist in decision making.
  • Conducts profitability analyses for customers and business segments.
  • Initiates reviews of key customer accounts, incorporating trends, changes in operating conditions, and actual results.
  • Prepares ad hoc sales, product and segment analysis.
  • Assists with preparing the mid-month forecast, quarterly forecast and annual budget for assigned business units.
  • Develops and maintains financial models used for business planning and forecasting.
  • Prepares materials for presentations for executive management used in internal operational review meetings, board meetings and external stakeholders.
  • Prepares monthly performance reporting of financial and operational results.
  • Develops reporting that measures business performance, growth, profitability and efficiency.
