Temporary to hire, based on attendance & performance
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Audit parts that are ready for shipment to the customer location.
Audit material and rework material.
Analyze returned goods.
Record audit data on report sheet.
Notify supervisor in writing when discrepancies are noted by e-mail or written report.
File inspection records in part files.
Perform special audits as required, such as first piece inspection, Demos audit, hold cage report, VIC Tester Audit, Etc.
Train other employees (new hires or transferred employees).
Responsibly for maintaining the weekly reports reviewed in QOS meeting.
Confers with quality, production, engineering and other personnel to review quality concerns and to provide disposition on rejected materials.
Performs audits of conformance to lab inspection, work and set up procedures.
Reviews gages and calibration dates for production and documents out-of-calibration gages to the Quality Assurance Manager for corrective action.
Monitors and performs audits of process parameters and product characteristics as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Performs and/or reviews capability studies as required.
Participate in 8Ds to solve quality problems and in Kaizen workshops.
Reviews SQC (example, x-r, attribute, Parato, etc).
Support the safety and environmental programs to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
What do you bring to the job?
12 months of solid production experience
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Welding and forklift experience preferred
Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen
