AS 400 Engineer with PKMS

Role:Develop, maintain and monitor current applications, reports and database(s) on the IBM AS/400 system;Develop new software applications and customize existing applications as necessary;Must have experience with PKMS (Manhattan Associates) Strong background in WMS tools with deep understanding of their supply chain(s) and distribution channel(s), inventory management etc.Establish the needs of end-users and monitor user access and security;Manage access control permissions and privileges;Design and manage data and file storage; Perform capacity planning and analysis;Work closely with IT managers, database programmers, software engineers, web developers and other key stakeholders;Communicate regularly with technical and operational staff to ensure database integrity and systems security;Understand and communicate changes (and their impact) to management;Provide recommendations on emerging/new technologies;
