ROLE SUMMARYThis is a Global, pan-Pfizer position responsible for the strategy, development, management, implementation and continuous improvement of the dangerous goods (DG) compliance program. The program encompasses both Pfizer-owned and -managed sites as well as third party contracted service providers.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops and implements global DG Compliance strategy for Pfizer

Oversees Global DG Audit Program

Provides Global DG Metrics/program performance monitoring and reporting to applicable businesses

Establishes/Leads key risk reduction initiatives

Enhances DG program visibility, collaboration and communication across a matrixed organization

Develops/maintains strong and positive working relationships with regulators, professional bodies, external experts, opinion leaders and Pfizer internal and external stakeholders

Mentors, develops and oversees regulatory professional(s) who are part of DG program and network

QUALIFICATIONSCandidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in the transport of dangerous goods, at least 5 in the pharmaceutical industry

Current certification in multimodal, national, international and regional DG transport regulations; e.g., DOT, IATA, IMDG, ADR, etc.,DGSA certification a plus.

Technical Skills:

Demonstrated technical expertise in the global transport of dangerous goods

Sound professional judgment and persistence

Strong problem-solving skills - willing to go the extra mile to handle difficult or complex business challenges

Self-motivated individual with a track record of internal drive and motivation to perform tasks without external prodding

Leadership and teambuilding skills

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and work in a matrixed, global environment

Results oriented with a strong drive to accomplish objectives and meet high standards

Positive customer service mindset with the ability to flex in an ever-changing regulatory and business environment

Proficiency with common computer programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel is required.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

Fluent in English, proficiency in other languages a plus
