- Client believes the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Expert understanding of Networking and core Internet protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks).
- Scripting experience - Python/Bash/JSON/Powershell, etc.
- LAN, WAN and Network security industry-related experience as a Network Engineer or Network Security Engineer
- Dedicated, ambitious individual with good time management and attention to detail
- Problem solver, who is flexible and creative in finding solutions for hard problems
- Social communicator, who will positively influence client's partners and who will communicate effectively at all levels
- Self-starter, who takes initiative in implementing goals, utilizing analytical skills, and possessing adaptability to change
- Three (3) years of professional experience in technology or a related field
- Scripting experience - Python/Bash/JSON/Powershell, etc.
- Any Licenses or Certificates Required: Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, AWS CSAP, PCNSE, VCP) and Associate certification (e.g., CCNA, AWS CSAA, PCNSA, VCTA)
- BA or BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience with the following systems and platforms: Cisco Switching and Firewall, ZScaler ZPA solutions, Bluecoat, Palo Alto and Cisco Umbrella, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Cisco ACS/RADITACACS+/ISE
- Experience with managing Infrastructure as code environments at AWS including CloudFormation, VPC's and the AWS CLI
- Experience managing, monitoring and supporting cloud devices or services.
- Experience with security concepts around Security group management.
