Vaco Technology is seeking an experienced

PMO Director for a permanent employment opportunity in Memphis, TN. Salary is commensurate with experience (but is in line with the location's cost of living). great benefits and the client is offering some relocation assistance.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the PMO team (recruitment and configuration) and establishing a framework that ensures successful project completion. All candidates should be able to discuss how they were able to build a new PMO or grow an existing PMO in the past.

Requirements include:

Min. 6 years of experience within a project management organization (PMO)
Min. 3
years of direct PMO Leadership experience
- Thorough knowledge and experience with Project Management Life Cycle (PLC), Program and Portfolio Management (PPM), Business Requirements, and Application Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience managing a large portfolio of IT projects
- Effective people management, communication, presentation, relationship building, and implementation skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience). Master's Degree, PREFERRED
- PMP Certification PREFERRED
