SRE Architect Memphis TN Full Time Job Description :- Site Reliability Architect, you will lead a team of engineers on the SRE team. You will work closely with development teams, establishing best practices for the operation of their applications. Strong consulting skills are necessary as you help organizational transformation, pushing for lean processes that can be automated. Day to day activities will include participating in agile ceremonies working with your team to maintain multiple platforms, applications, incident management procedures, and more. Key Responsibilities

• • Ensure the availability, performance and scalability of applications in respect of proven design and architecture best practices
  • Design and execute Scalability strategies that ensure the scalability and the elasticity of the infrastructure
  • Manage a portfolio of Software, their Development Life Cycle and optimize their Continuous Integration and Delivery workflows (CI/CD)
• Design, develop, ship, and motivate the creation of software and systems to increase product reliability and organizational efficiency.
• Guide reliability practices through the entire software development lifecycle through activities like architecture reviews, code reviews, creating platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and chaos testing, telemetry instrumentation.
• Maintain service health through monitoring and follow-the-sun incident response.
• Improve service reliability through blameless post-incident reviews and using code to prevent or respond to problem recurrence.
• Experience of cloud native development
• Experience in developing applications to be deployed in Kubernetes
• Experience in microservice architecture.
• Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
• Strong interest in SRE topics like SLOs, resilience, scaling, performance, and more.

  • Define process for change & incident management for multiple applications developed by a number of teams
  • Able to collaborate and define interaction patterns with development teams
  • Deep experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics
  • Deep experience with log aggregation tools such as Splunk
  • Passionate about metrics
  • Able to work with executive leadership to establish SLAs Zero down time deployments are the standard
  • Familiar with employing deployment models such as blue/green and canary to collect metrics.
  • Able to gradually rollout an application based on a variety of factors, such as geography
  • Advocate of shifting left and enabling development teams to predictably deliver software without surprises.
  • Experience administrating databases in a high availability model
  • Experience proving application resiliency employing fitness tests such as chaos engineering
