Join the culinary team at Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen. We look to add line cooks to our team of culinary professionals who are driven by a passion for cooking and honing their craft. Line cooks seek to craft meaningful experiences for guests through adherence to the strict standards of the EnjoyAM Restaurant Group in the preparation and execution of dishes. Line cooks report directly to the Sous Chefs and Chef de Cuisine and contribute to the team in a variety of tasks. The qualified candidate has a love for food, a passion for service, and a team oriented work ethic.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
-Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
-Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
-Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
-Answer, report and follow chef de cuisine or sous chef's instructions
-Clean up station and properly store prep
-Stock inventory appropriately
-Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
-Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
-Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
