Davenport towing is looking for a reliable, positive team player for our full time diesel mechanic position. Must be organized and ensure the highest possible standards in the industry of diesel mechanics. Willingness to maintain respectful working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
Duties including:
Follow a checklist of inspection procedures
Test drive vehicles and diagnose malfunctions
Inspect brakes, steering mechanisms, transmissions and engines
Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws and attach system components
Requirements include:
Must have own tools
Must be able to lift 70-100lbs
Must have knowledge of air brakes
Must be proficient in cummins insight
Must have 3-5 years experience
Must be available fulltime
