DESCRIPTION
LightEdison is currently hiring Memphis-based electrical foreman, journeyman I, II, apprentices and helpers (see descriptions below) to help us install cutting edge energy projects. LightEdison is a licensed electrical contractor in TN and MS, and all work would be directed by a Master Electrician. Work will include a combination of LED retrofit and new fixture installs, solar PV and battery storage installs and electrical service work required on our past projects.
FOREMAN:
COMPENSATION
Compensation is >$30/hr pending experience and ability to lead a crew. Pay is bi-weekly. Overtime is paid when working over 40 hours. Per diem provided when traveling, and is paid per day worked.
YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA TO SCHEDULE A PHONE INTERVIEW:
Located within 30 minutes of Memphis.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have a clean driving record and valid driver's license. CDL a plus.
8-10+ years' VERIFIABLE commercial electrical experience.
Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
Ability to troubleshoot basic controls and control systems.
Be able to travel around the region for extended periods of time (when needed).
Be able and willing to work 50 hours per week.
No felonies in the past 10 years. No domestic violence convictions. Background check will be performed.
JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN II
COMPENSATION
Compensation is $25-$30/hr pending experience and ability to lead a crew. Pay is bi-weekly. Overtime is paid when working over 40 hours. Per diem provided when traveling, and is paid per day worked.
REQUIREMENTS
YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA TO SCHEDULE A PHONE INTERVIEW:

2-4+ years' VERIFIABLE commercial electrical experience as a journeyman

No felonies in the past 10 years. No domestic violence convictions. Background check will be performed.
MEMPHIS JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN I
COMPENSATION
Compensation is $20-$25/hr pending experience and ability to lead a crew. Pay is bi-weekly. Overtime is paid when working over 40 hours. Per diem provided when travelling, and is paid per day worked.
REQUIREMENTS

4 years as electrical apprentice or less than 2 years' VERIFIABLE commercial electrical experience as a journeyman.

Be able to travel around the region for extended periods of time (when needed).
Be able and willing to work 50 hours per week.
No felonies in the past 10 years. No domestic violence convictions. Background check will be performed.
MEMPHIS APPRENTICE ELECTRICIANS
COMPENSATION
Compensation is $10-$20/hr pending experience. Pay is bi-weekly. Overtime is paid when working over 40 hours. Per diem provided when traveling, and is paid per day worked.
REQUIREMENTS

1+ years' VERIFIABLE commercial electrical experience as a helper”and some education can help here, too

MEMPHIS ELECTRICAL HELPERS
COMPENSATION
Compensation is $10-$15/hr pending experience. Pay is bi-weekly. Overtime is paid when working over 40 hours. Per diem provided when traveling, and is paid per day worked.
