COMPUTER OPERATIONS SUPPORT 1
LOCATION: MEMPHIS TN
WAGE: $19/HOUR
CONTRACT: 1ST SHIFT
Summary:
The main function of a computer operations support is to be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of Windows desktops.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the software and hardware life cycle management processes including research, packaging, quality assurance, and deployment preparation Setup new users, including desktop configuration, email accounts, ldap accounts, VPN accounts Support employees, both local and remote, with Desktop issues, account issues, access to various internal services Troubleshoot software issues on employees desktops/laptops Some off hours support for may apply
Skills:
Knowledge of Windows OS Experience with desktop installation and configuration Experience troubleshooting desktop issues as well as mobile devices
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required Entry to 2 years of experience required
Required Skills - Able to follow documentation to execute manual batch jobs in a Windows Operating environment. Communicate effectively within a team environment and to management including both written and oral. Escalate any issues to the technical staff in a timely manner.
