Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a leading global hospitality company who is seeking a Systems Engineer who will work as part of a team to develop and manage digital assets for the company's websites and services. The selected candidate will be seasoned in cloud hosting technologies and his/her understanding of the business/industry environment. This position is 100% remote. Responsibilities:

  • Monitor/troubleshoot server and web site issues
  • Develop/maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) tools
  • Maintain/improve the code repository system
  • Provide technical direction to help define requirements and implement solutions that meets business objectives
  • Fill gaps throughout the development cycle to ensure delivery expectations are met
  • Lead/mentor other engineers on the technology stack building to increase the pace of the team

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role
  • 2 years of experience using cloud hosting and design patterns
  • 2 years of experience working with CI/CD technologies and workflows
  • 2 years of experience administering code repositories
  • 3 years of experience working collaboratively on a team
  • Proven experience with server administration tools (DNS management, security certificates, proxy servers, firewalls, load balancers, security hardening)
